Geez, no pressure or anything. So if they catch a man being gay, they will just chop off his danglers… and presumably give a woman a dangler for being gay?
So, most of us are aware of homosexuality being a crime in the Islamist country of Iran.
Their ‘generous’ offer requires that homosexuals choose between death or gender reassignment surgery. Not sure how turning an innie to an outie changes the gayness.
The regime in Iran literally believes this to be treatment.
In my personal opinion, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to look at it. If I’m not having to dodge d*cks with my spoon while I’m trying to enjoy my morning cereal, then I really don’t mind what sexual preferences people have (this of course excludes bestiality, pedophilia, human trafficking, and the other obvious immoral and disgustingly wrong ‘preferences’).
According to Breitbart:
Ample evidence suggests those opting for the surgery do not in any way identify as transgender but feel compelled to agree to it to avoid being killed.
In an interview with the Sun, Iranian-born LGBT activist Shadi Amin explained that the regime views homosexuality as an “illness” that can only be cured by changing the person’s gender.
“The government believes that if you are a gay man your soul is that of a woman and you should change your body,” she said. “We think this is a way to fight the existence of homosexual people because you change their body and you solve the problem.”
So their government is attempting to lump transgenderism and homosexuality into one, assuming they’re one and the same?
Apparently, Iran has legalized sexual reassignment surgery since 1987, in which a majority of cases are government subsidized.
According to Breitbart:
Reports indicate that around 4,000 surgeries are carried out in Iran every year, while one doctor reportedly told Amin that he carries out between 30 to 40 surgeries per month.
“There is nothing which criminalizes attacks against trans people,” Amin said. “After the surgery, they have no rights anymore. There is no physiological support after the surgery.”
British human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, who despite being an ardent left-wing activist has a record of standing up to repressive regimes of all political persuasions, told the British tabloid that the number of surgeries is only high because homosexuals want to carry on living.
The Iranian government doesn’t care to help and encourage individuals flourish as their true selves, but more so to enforce gender norms by eliminating homosexuality.
I don’t want to hear anymore garbage from the left suggesting that Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance.
