“You’re Doing Well Already” Says Joe Biden As He Pledges To Raise Taxes

Joe Biden is very gaffe-prone.  He messed up Chris Wallace’s name this weekend on his Sunday show, apparently confusing him with Chuck Todd.

That was a gaffe.  This, below, was not.  It was a moment of honesty in which he promised to raise your taxes.

How many of you did really well with that $1.9 trillion dollar tax cut, that increased, really good shape, right?  Really changed your, well you did, that’s good, I’m glad to see you’re doing well already.  And I’m, but guess what, if you elect me, your taxes are going to be raised, not cut, if you benefit from that.

What is with these Democrats? They deny that Trump’s tax cuts actually cut the taxes of middle-class Americans, always claiming they only helped the rich.  Even the New York Times admits that most people benefited from Trump’s tax cuts.

My husband and I are middle-class and our taxes were cut. So, it sounds like Joe Biden is promising to raise taxes on the middle-class.  Because, in his mind, anyone who benefited from the tax cut is “doing well already” and, therefore, needs to pay Uncle Sam even more.

Isn’t it nice how Biden is just deciding that you have enough money?  Meh, you are doing good enough.  Give more money to the federal behemoth!

This race is now a two-person race between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.  No matter which way this falls, the Democrats will nominate a candidate who is explicitly promising to significantly raise taxes on most Americans.  The Democrats at least used to act like they only wanted to tax the rich.  Now, they brazenly admit they want to tax everyone more.

Joe Biden to a voter who benefitted from Trump's Tax Cuts: "I'm glad to see you're doing well already… Guess what? If you elect me… your taxes are gonna be RAISED not cut…"
