February 20, 2020Former Trump national security adviser John Bolton and former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice spoke together at Vanderbilt University. It looks like John Bolton’s testimony would not have been what Democrats were salivating for. He was not their savior.
Former national security advisor John Bolton criticized the House Democrats’ impeachment effort against President Donald Trump as “grossly partisan” and said his testimony would have still resulted in the president’s acquittal.
Speaking Wednesday at Vanderbilt University alongside Susan Rice, former national security advisor under President Barack Obama, Bolton condemned House Democrats for what he described as “impeachment malpractice” and speculated that the proceedings “drove Republicans who might have voted for impeachment away because it was so partisan.”
Well, DUH. Everyone in the country could see that it was entirely partisan except Joe Biden and the Democrats.
Furthermore, it doesn’t matter if Trump wanted the Biden’s corruption investigated. Just because Joe is a candidate does not give him and his family shield from legitimate investigations for suspected corruption and criminal activity. This all came down to Trump’s motive and the Democrats could not prove the motive was to influence the 2020 election. Period.
Susan Rice attacked John Bolton for not testifying before the House. As reported by The Guardian,
“I can’t imagine withholding my testimony with or without a subpoena,” Rice said at the Vanderbilt event, according to CNN reporter Jennifer Hansler.
“I would feel like I was shamefully violating the oath that I took to defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.”
She is SO FULL OF IT. There is absolutely zero chance Susan Rice would have testified if the situation were reversed. If House Republicans called her to testify, without subpoena, in an attempt to impeach President Obama, the Obama administration would have opposed her testifying as well.
And just like that, John Bolton goes from hero of the left, to villain. Hence, #BoycottBoltonsBook

John Bolton had a rare opportunity to step up and be an ACTUAL hero for America.
Instead, knowing what he knew, he kept his damn mouth shut in order to save trump and boost book sales.
