BREAKING: Taliban Claims It Shot Down US Air Force Plane in Afghanistan Carrying CIA Officers

The Taliban initially stated the plane was simply a passenger plane but, as the facts of the matter emerged, the jet was deliberately shot down.

US military officials are promptly investigating.

The Daily Star reported:

In a statement a Taliban source said the plane was carrying high ranking Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officers.

It added that everyone died on board.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed the crash killed “lots” of US service members, although the militant group often exaggerates casualty figures.

The crash site was about 10km (6.2 miles) from a US military base.

It was initially feared 83 people were on board the plane when it was reported to be a passenger jet belonging to Ariana Airlines.

Wahidullah Kalimzai, the Ghazni governor, stated later that the plane was unidentifiable because it was completely burned and belonged to a foreign company, adding that the bodies of two pilots were recovered…

Seems a little fishy. Just a little.
