Monday night’s national championship game was such a great game.
Both teams were incredible, and it rounded out with a fantastic win for LSU coming in 17 points ahead of Clemson.
Everything about the game reminded me of why I love college football, and why I love patriotism. And I’m not sure about you but I cannot get enough of this picture of President Trump and First Lady Melania.

President Trump and First Lady Melania were greeted with deafening applause when they walked onto the field during the College Football National Championship game between Clemson University and Louisiana State University on Monday night.
The Associated Press reported that in addition to getting a standing ovation, attendees also chanted, “Four More Years!” and “USA! USA! USA!” when the first couple walked onto the field for the national anthem.

At the beginning of the game and during the National Anthem sung beautifully by Lauren Daigle, it was an incredible moment, clearly, one that illustrated how America has come together and is unified. (Most of America, except for the media and the D.C. swamp and their followers who continue to sympathize with the loss of Qasem Soleimani.)

The photos taken of President Trump and the First Lady Melania are magnificent and completely magazine cover-worthy. Still, sadly I predict there’s not one magazine out there who will run with it on their cover.

That part makes me sad. It is seriously a big missed opportunity for the magazine industry. Magazines have always had the purpose of inspiring, bringing audiences together, and establishing trust.

Dearest magazine industry, where art thou? Please empower yourselves to capture millions of readers’ attention by showcasing this unified moment. Just think, if you do, what it might do for your newsstand sales. Come on, bring it together, it’s your job to stand out.
Will some magazine out there please prove me wrong? I want to buy a special issue of a magazine that has this picture on it. I will buy a copy and keep it on my coffee table forever. And then I’ll buy ten more copies to share with friends. (Wink, wink.)
