If Sarah and Bernie are so intent on blaming everything on rich people, maybe they should start by taking a good long look in the mirror?
This all started when Bernie Sanders woke up this morning (I really hate it when he does that). Rather than keep his deranged mumblings about class-warfare and EEEEEEEEEEEVIL rich people to himself and the voices in his head, he decided to post them on Twitter for everyone in the world to see and mock –
Let’s be clear: America is not broke. The very wealthy, and huge profitable corporations just aren’t paying their taxes.

America isn’t broke, huh? What, pray tell, do you call $19 trillion in debt, then? Chump change?
Side Note: Fox Business’s Charles Payne had the best reply –
America is so wealthy some folks have three houses https://t.co/ewNFUVf2gj

Anyway – Sarah Silverman decided to proclaim LOUDLY IN ALL CAPS that Bernie was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT and IT’S JUST THAT SIMPLE!
(Sarah would know all about “simple,” wouldn’t she?)
ITS AS SIMPLE AS THIS: https://t.co/L2oWrOW1Qe

Sooooo… here’s a question for Sarah and Bernie and all the other rich elites in America – why aren’t you forking over all of your wealth to the federal government? Why doesn’t Bernie sell his three houses and turn the money over to poor college students who took out obscene amounts of student loan debt for gender studies degrees? Why doesn’t Sarah take the money she makes on ticket sales for her comedy shows and give it to the poor, picked-on women who can’t figure out where the birth control aisle at Walgreen’s is and pay ten bucks for condoms?
@SarahKSilverman @SenSanders why don’t we send the IRS to Hollywood then??? I’m sure those hypocrites would be a great place to start.

@SarahKSilverman Teachers & first responders get paid less than comedians & actors. Seems broken to me. Tell hollywood to ante up.

Oh right – because taxing even the wealthiest among us wouldn’t even begin to put a dent in our federal debt –
@SarahKSilverman Factually incorrect. Even if you taxed “the 1%” at a 100% tax rate(!), not even the student debt crisis would be covered.

Don’t ever try explaining basic economics to an avowed socialist or his minions. It only ends in the mad ravings of a lunatic.
