Academics are a funny bunch. One minute, they’re claiming to have all the answers and that everyone adores them. The next, they’re surprised that something they said ticked everybody off and they’re screaming for their safe space.
I used to think that academics were pretty level-headed, sane, and really smart. I even wanted to become a college professor at one point in my life. Now, I see that they’re all just a bunch of pants-wetting leftist babies – just like they’re students, but they’ve actually made a career out of it. Which is so much more pathetic.
I could never live in the world of academia. It hurts my heart to say that, but it’s true.
Remember we told you about the professor from Drexel University who tweet that he wanted “White Genocide” for Christmas? He deleted the tweet, but tried to academic-splain his words using historical context that really didn’t make his originally comment any better? (University officials did investigate his comments, but he will keep his job. So, there’s that.)
Well now, according to this, other professors are freaking out because they might be subjected to the same kind of so-called “witch hunt” if they oh-so-accidentally tweet something that could be taken to mean that they want an entire race of people killed simply because of what their skin color is.
Misunderstandings happen, you know. Or, something –
The “white genocide” prof is keeping his job, but academics are gearing up for lots of micro controversies. https://t.co/4FxeHOY49P

“Micro”-controversies. Because calling for genocide is totally no big deal. I’m sure if we replaced “white” with any other racial group, they would laugh it off and get the joke.
Yeah, no. Try again.
If academics are worried about their words being held up for scrutiny, they probably should be. My hope is that all this pointing out how biased and closed-minded academia has become will shake them out of their stupid-bubble and make them realize that they are no better than the rest of us. That fancy piece of paper that says they studied super-hard for lots of years and that means they know so much? Yeah, it’s not worth anything at all. It’s barely worth the paper its printed on. Sure isn’t worth the ink it took to print it.
Academics have the same problem that the leftist media and politicians have – they don’t think they need to relate to anyone outside of their little circles. The ordinary people out in the world need academics to explain the world to them, because there’s no way ordinary people are going to understand it! Ordinary people are probably out there trying to make fire by banging rocks together, for heavens sake! However do they function without a gazillion college degrees on their walls!
Maybe try coming down off your clouds and talking to regular people for a change, guys. Or is that just too much for you to handle?
