Sooooo, guns and sex toys are mixing to create a commercial for gun safety, and I happen to think it's kind of clever. Some conservatives really hate the new ad created by Evolve, according to the interwebs. But me? I think the ad is a good one, I love the notion of safety behind it, and I do think it meets its goal of being a "neutral ground for reducing gun violence." Now, according to "Americans Against The Tea Party" (you know, one of those groups that so cleverly and originally calls Tea Party folks "teabaggers"), this "hilarious new ad is supposed to shame half of America's parents into locking up their weapons." And I swear, sentences like that make me roll my eyes so hard they practically stab my brain. It's as if the left believes that none of us on the right have ever had sex in our lives.
Mmmmm hmmm. Whatever helps you sleep at night, liberals.
I'm sure your mileage may vary. It's what makes our little community so great out here in COTR-land. But I am a big believer in responsible, safe gun ownership, and with kids running in and out of my home on a regular basis, Mr. Daisy and I understand the necessity to lock up our firearms. To me, that's just part of responsible ownership.
One take-away is for sure. I'll never look at a lightsaber the same way again.
