Former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates have been indicted in the Mueller probe. There are 12 charges, which include conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.

The timing of this indictment is rather interesting, wouldn’t you say? And it begs the question– why did Mueller and his team leak the news of this indictment to the media over the weekend? Was it, perhaps, to distract everyone from the fact that Hillary Clinton and the DNC were busted for paying for the fake dirty dossier on Trump?
