Harvey Weinstein Confronted By Brad Pitt After Harassing Gwyneth Paltrow

At this point, it sounds like EVERYONE in Hollywood knew that Harvey Weinstein was a scumbag of epic proportions. Why they’re just coming out now is beyond me. It’s pathetic. Speaking of pathetic, did you guys see Hillary Clinton’s statement on the matter?

Wow! What a powerful 38 words!

I don’t buy that Hillary was “shocked” and “appalled” by the recent revelations. Not for a second. That’d be as laughable as her saying she’s shocked to find out her husband is a rapist. Give me a break.

Like I said before, it looks like all of Hollywood knew Weinstein was a perv, but he was SO big and SO powerful and SO liberal that no one dared to cause a ruckus. That’s what makes the following story such a rarity.

Gwyneth Paltrow claims Weinstein tried to make a move on her back in the 90s, and believe it or not, her boyfriend at the time– Brad Pitt– confronted Weinstein.

When Gwyneth Paltrow was 22 years old, she got a role that would take her from actress to star: The film producer Harvey Weinstein hired her for the lead in the Jane Austen adaptation “Emma.” Before shooting began, he summoned her to his suite at the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel for a work meeting that began uneventfully.

It ended with Mr. Weinstein placing his hands on her and suggesting they head to the bedroom for massages, she said.

“I was a kid, I was signed up, I was petrified,” she said in an interview, publicly disclosing that she was sexually harassed by the man who ignited her career and later helped her win an Academy Award.

After Brad found out, he did something about it.

She refused his advances, she said, and confided in Brad Pitt, her boyfriend at the time. Mr. Pitt confronted Mr. Weinstein, and soon after, the producer warned her not to tell anyone else about his come-on. “I thought he was going to fire me,” she said.

Brad telling a creepy perv to step off his girlfriend shouldn’t even BE a story. Isn’t that what any normal guy would do? Sure. But this is Hollywood we’re talking about.

Some say Brad didn’t do enough, but it’s more than anyone else at this point.
