Sean Spicer Under Fire After Heated Exchange With White House Reporter April Ryan

Full disclosure. I’m no fan of April Ryan. She’s the White House Correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks and an Obama/Clinton lackey. You might not recognize her by name, but she’s the reporter who accused President Trump of saying white people built America. She shamelessly embedded that ridiculous accusation in a question during a White House press briefing last month. Flashback–

“What did the president gain from his tour today? You talked about where he visited, the exhibits that he visited. Did he also visit slavery? Ryan asked Spicer. “And the reason why I’m asking this is because when he was candidate Trump, he said things like you know, ‘We made this country,’ meaning white America, not necessarily black. Did he gain anything —”

Trump never said that, and she still hasn’t offered up any proof. This was the best thing anyone could dig up.

“We cannot let our First Amendment rights be taken away from us from us. We can’t let it. We have the right to speak, we’re law-abiding people, we’re people that work very hard,” Trump said. “We’re people who’ve built this country and made this country great. And we’re all together and we want to get along with everybody, but when they have organized, professionally staged wise guys, we’ve got to fight back, we’ve got to fight back.”

By “we,” he meant white people. IS THAT NOT OBVIOUS?

Seriously. That’s her argument.

Anyway, that’s the April Ryan we’re dealing with here.

On Tuesday, she asked Spicer about how the administration will revamp its image, since it has this stupid Russia thing looming over its head. Spicer rejected the entire premise of her question.

“Two and a half months in, you’ve got this [Sally Yates story] today, you’ve got other things going on. You’ve got Russia, you’ve got wiretaps,” Ryan said

“You’ve got investigations on Capitol Hill,” she added

“No, I get it,” Spicer replied. “I’ve said it from the day that I got here until whenever that there is no connection.”

“You’ve got Russia!” she said.

“If the president puts Russian salad dressing on his salad tonight, somehow that’s a Russian connection,” Spicer said.

“I appreciate your agenda here, but at some point report the facts,” he continued. “Every single person who has been briefed on this subject has come away with the same conclusion… I’m sorry that disgusts you, but understand this: At some point, the facts are what they are… At some point you’re going to have to take no for an answer.”

At some point during the tense exchange, Spicer told Ryan to stop shaking her head.
