And the slippery slope begins.
The slope is an oil slide.
Rosemary Hills Elementary School, a public school in Maryland, is requiring N95 masks to be worn by all third-graders in accordance with their reinstated COVID mask requirements in an effort to reduce further transmission over the next week and a half.
Apparently a handful of children tested positive for COVID.
This is the letter that was sent to all parents –
A DC area elementary school — Montgomery County, Maryland — is reinstating a mask mandate — N95’s — for third graders over a few kids testing positive for covid. Here’s the letter. They’re coming with masks for your kids again. Get ready. Read this insanity. pic.twitter.com/LZs4N19XLL

I love how it states “three or more.” Roughly translated = ONLY THREE, but dialing it down would reduce our credibility.
I could’ve sworn we already reviewed the health concerns of increased CO2 concentrations while routinely wearing face masks… it’s actually quite toxic.
Oh wait, indoctrination is more important. Silly me. Gotta protect the kids from common sense.

According to the National Library of Medicine:
Fresh air has around 0.04% CO2, while wearing masks more than 5 min bears a possible chronic exposure to carbon dioxide of 1.41% to 3.2% of the inhaled air. Although the buildup is usually within the short-term exposure limits, long-term exceedances and consequences must be considered due to experimental data.
mammals who were chronically exposed to 0.3% CO2 the experimental data demonstrate a teratogenicity with irreversible neuron damage in the offspring, reduced spatial learning caused by brainstem neuron apoptosis and reduced circulating levels of the insulin-like growth factor-1.
Additional data exists on the exposure of chronic 0.3% CO2 in adolescent mammals causing neuron destruction, which includes less activity, increased anxiety and impaired learning and memory.
Mask mandates should be reconsidered due to their grave repercussions they have on overall cognitive performance in children. Contracting COVID should be the least of their concerns.
I swear, if I have to hear the phrase “flatten the curve” again, I’m going to… write more snarky jokes, probably.
