July 13, 2023Parents Defending Education discovered that Seattle middle schools will be offering “gender affirming care” to students as young as 11 years old. Documents show that Meany Middle School and Nova High School allow students to “conveniently” seek such ‘treatment’ for free at the school. The details of this so-called ‘care’ are rather sparse, but providers for the Nova Wellness centers at these schools boast hormone therapy and sex-change surgeries for minors.
Apparently, the so-called ‘care’ is offered for free to these students, a term which is blatantly misleading. As with the government’s ‘free’ Covid vaccines, this ‘care’ might be no cost to the kids in that moment, but nothing is really free. In this case, I suspect it will be Seattle taxpayers who pick up the bill for schools facilitating the medical transitioning of kids in their school wellness centers.
Considering Washington’s recently signed law essentially allowing for the removal of children from the custody of parents who don’t help their child medically affirm their gender identity, as well as the rampant Washington tradition of keeping secrets from parents regarding gender and sexuality-related information about their own children, my guess is that a lot of this school-offered medical transitioning will happen behind the backs of parents.
Bottom line is, it looks like taxpayers might end up funding schools medically transitioning kids behind the backs of their parents. They’ve lost their minds. I hope they get absolutely wrecked with lawsuits in the coming years.

This just reminds me of all the research that “Liberals” put into trying convince them to be stop being conservative versus the opposite.
Conservative => Liberal: a great amount of effort to remove most fear responses.
Liberal => Conservative: a paycheck after taxes.
Sadly too many people have been gaslit that any government program is going to be a net good despite the overwhelming evidence they are going to be a net loss.
