June 21, 2023Last night, I had the opportunity to pre-screen the new movie starring Jim Caviezel called The Sound Of Freedom, and y’all – it’s a must see. It’s a run-don’t-walk-to-see-it kind of movie. I naturally gravitate to movies that are based on true stories, and so as soon as I heard about Sound of Freedom and saw the trailer, I knew I couldn’t miss it. Check this out.
If you think the trailer looks riveting, just WAIT. The movie is edge-of-your-seat gripping from start to finish. It’s based on the true story about Tim Ballard and his heroic rescue of two kiddos kidnapped and trafficked.
The content and subject matter is dark – no question about it – and the fact that there is such a huge demand, ESPECIALLY IN THE UNITED STATES – for kids to be abused in this way – just makes me completely despair about how evil humanity can be.
But there’s also so much hope. There’s hope because of people like Tim Ballard, and because of people like Jim Caviezel who helps tell his story. There’s an amazing movement that’s taking place around this film. It opens Independence Day week, and the movie’s makers have a goal of making sure that two million people see the movie IN THEATERS opening week so that more screens open up, more of these kids’ stories get told, and more people become aware of the human trafficking nightmare that is currently taking place globally. If money is the reason that you’re considering not seeing the film, the makers have created a Pay It Forward initiative whereby folks can pay for tickets for people who cannot otherwise afford to see it. You can either buy your own tickets, buy tickets for someone else, or obtain tickets for free right here.
Help save kids by raising awareness of this problem that is far too rampant. Go see this movie opening week. Consider buying a ticket for someone else while you’re at it. Or just tell your friends to see it. Do for this movie what you did for Passion of the Christ. Make it one of the most seen films ever, and get active on this issue. #2millionfor2million

And true to form, mainstream media is already tearing it apart. I had to look the movie up because I had never heard of it. Read the Wiki page for it. The critiques of the movie are longer than any sort of description for it. AND they go after Caviezel for some of his opinions. MSM runs cover for the sort of people that make Tim Ballard’s work necessary.
