Enter at least a handful of kiddos (at a school in Burlington Massachusetts, no less) who said (and I’m paraphrasing) hell naaawww to the pride brainwashing that they’re currently experiencing in their TAXPAYER-FUNDING PUBLIC SCHOOL:
Kids ARE being forced to participate. These are schools paid for by these kids’ parents, and more parents need so start standing up – I’m delighted to see that kids are standing up, too. Sexuality isn’t something to be celebrated. It doesn’t make you brave or special, and you shouldn’t get your own flag, your own day, or your own month – simply because of whom you choose to sleep with. Smart kids understand that.

So, when a kid says, “I don’t want to participate in these pride events” that’s a problem to be solved. But when a kid says, “I feel like my true gender is different from my biological sex” that’s absolute wisdom that must never be questioned in the slightest.
It almost seems like the Left only believes kids (or anyone, for that matter) when they are saying exactly what the Left wants to hear.
