The Most EPIC RANT YOU WILL EVER HEAR EVER About Daylight Saving Time

Back in our radio days, waaaaaaaaaaaay back when we had our original Producer Matt (who is now Traffic Matt!) working with us, he created the “Speed Round” which ostensibly was supposed to be all about him firing off a series of questions at us, and us answering as many questions as we could in a limited segment of time.

It never ever ever worked that way. 🙂

Instead, SpeedRound became the least speedy round ever. We CONSTANTLY lingered on topics of interest, went way over on time, and it became sort of a running joke. SpeedRound lasted through several producers after Matt, and even lasted into the show I did for a year once Daisy left radio. It was a super popular segment, and when Executive Producer Matt (a whole different Matt) was the question-asker? It was SO MUCH FUN.

There is no one on the planet who hates Daylight Saving Time more than Matt. And when he told this epic story about WHY he hates it, it became one of our most favorite and famous radio segments.
