Libs love to cite the change in values… until it doesn’t work for them. Woke USED to mean exposure to new ideas and adjusting your own behavior accordingly. NOW it means ‘white, male Christians are the source of all evil, even when no white, male Christians are even around’. The meaning of words change over time. Incel used to just mean ‘involuntary celibate’, some poor sap who just couldn’t find a girl despite his best efforts. Now it means a basement dweller who blames all of his problems on women.
Do you think she’s confusing it with an antifa rally? Or a teacher’s union meeting? Or maybe she’s talking about all the people who might be outside protesting?
It’s clear we cannot talk with these people but simply to them because at no point do they even attempt to interpret what is said by our intent but merely attribute malice, stupidity or both. Changing the dictionary to fit what you want someone to have said versus what you want someone else to say is the ultimate form of Shifting the Goalposts.
