HOLY CRAP YOU GUYS. LOOK AT THIS.
This is crazy. A boulder in Palolo, Hawaii smashed through someone's home and narrowly missed them. Nobody was injured.pic.twitter.com/BhWH8TT5K1

Make sure your sound is on when you watch because the force of the crash is just amazing.
According to this, there’s apparently some new development requiring the excavation of a nearby mountain which may have resulted in what you see above. And that house was NEW, y’all. The family had lived there forever, but tore down their house and had it rebuilt, and then THIS happened.
The owner of the new development insists it’s not his project that caused the stray boulder but he plans to have engineers survey the area and put in a barrier wall.
CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE this happening to your house?
The fact that no one was hurt is a freaking miracle.

On July 7, 2017, at about 10:30 PM I had just finished working and went to grab our 7-week-old Golden to take out through our kitchen slider to our back yard so he could do his business and I could go to bed. I was getting mad at the puppy because he was running around our living room, and I could not catch him. I hear a loud crash like lighting struck a tree in the yard and all the lights went out. I see this man running between me and the dining room table about 5 feet away. I thought it was one of my sons. He said I am sorry as he went by and out my front door. When I realized it was not my kid, I chased after him. I quit before I got to long down the sidewalk. I went back to the house and opened the front porch door and it looks directly through the dining room into the kitchen. I see lots of smoke and a Volkswagen sedan running with its lights on fully inside my kitchen.
It destroyed two rooms, all the appliances and all the cabinets in both the kitchen and washroom running with its lights on. My wife was upstairs in bed. I yelled at her to get up and out of the house now. I half expected her to yell back, “You don’t have to talk to me like that”, but she did not. LOL The car had to be going 60- plus MPH it took out a 2 inch cherry tree, smashing the grandkids 4″ by 4″ swing set, jumping the 2 foot high cement deck and landing on the other side of the 20 foot wide kitchen. It totaled about 1/3 of our house. It bust both floor and ceiling rafters.
But, for my Golden playing hard to catch I would have been standing at the slider when the car came through it. The dog still reminds me every day that he saved my life. We lived in the house for 11 months without an official kitchen. (My wife about a year earlier moved her dog grooming business from our house on the front porch to her new shop. She had a stainless steel dog tub in the connecting bedroom that I had told her I would move to her new shop. Luckly, I had not found the time to move it – I was thinking about it though, so we had it to use as a kitchen sink until our kitchen was repaired.
I noticed when my wife came downstair on the night of the accident that she had tears in her eyes. To this day I am not really sure if it was because her home was destroyed by the car, or if she was disappointed, I had not caught the puppy and was not in the kitchen at the slider when the car came through. Another unsolvable mystery of life, I guess.
