If You’re Not An Admirer Of Pierre Poilievre, You Should Be. And Here’s A Great Example Of Why.

I’ve been a follower of Pierre’s on Twitter for ages, because he’s one of those people who can be a complete badass with impossible politeness and poise.

I do not possess that talent. If I’m in badass mode, it’s never polite or poised. I don’t know how to do polite and poised.

But Pierre? He’s a master at it.

Pierre, for those of you unfamiliar with him, is a member of the Canadian Parliament, and he’s the leader of the conservative party and brilliant. I’m hoping he beats Trudeau in the next election, and many polls indicate he’ll do just that.

The clown you’re about to watch him spar with is the quintessential politician – the kind of sleazy disgusting hack who can’t answer a simple question, can’t be honest, can’t be transparent, and can only lie, deceive, obfuscate, and avoid accountability. He’s the Canadian Karine Jean Pierre – only without being an affirmative action hire.

It doesn’t even matter that this clip cuts off at the end without resolution. It’s easy to imagine that this back and forth went on endlessly, until Poilievre likely just said, “The average cost of a home in Canada is well over 600K, which is out of reach for a HUUUUUGE swatch of Canadian people, you absolute clown.”

That’s how I would have put it, of course, because I lack politeness and poise.
