Is even one person surprised that CNN is blaming Trump for Joe Biden mishandling classified documents? They’re basically saying that Trump coming into the White House made for a “flurry of packing mementos, photographs, and personal papers” and that “last minute work continued up until the hours [Biden] departed the White House for Donald Trump’s inauguration.” Apparently, it was “an uneasy moment” for Biden aids and staff, and while “most of Biden’s files and documents were turned over to the national Archives,” clearly not all of them were.
And that’s somehow Donald Trump’s fault? As though they didn’t know the date they had to be moved out? As though they didn’t have 2.5 months to plan for Biden’s departure from that office? It’s not like this was sprung upon them unexpectedly.

Contrary to what the Biden Administration would have you believe, these weren’t all recently discovered, but were discovered months ago and kept secret from the public until after the midterm elections in November. Now that the story has broken, more classified documents continue to be discovered in places like his Delaware garage. Yes, I’m serious. In his garage with his Corvette. The thing is, I’m not totally sure what to think about it all. I have it on good authority that mishandling classified documents after leaving the White House warrants a huge surprise raid on your home, a 24/7 barrage of media hatred for many weeks, and multiple federal investigations. And while the justice department is “probing” the situation and Garland appointed special counsel, it certainly isn’t getting the same treatment as Trump.
Meanwhile, we have the media consideration. As soon as the documents story broke, MSNBC set the narrative by explaining that these mishandled classified documents simply “went to the wrong place.” Like, ‘Whoops! That classified document wasn’t supposed to end up in this pile that ended up in a cardboard box in Biden’s garage. Silly Biden.’ Then White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that they were “inadvertently misplaced.” Like, ‘Hmm, I seem to have forgotten where I laid that classified document. Anyone see that classified document I had that I seem to have inadvertently misplaced in a cardboard box in my garage by my Corvette?’ Do they realize how ridiculous they sound?

The issue I have is that it sort of smells planned to me. It almost seems like they’re intentionally distancing Joe Biden from a 2024 presidential run and learning the way for someone they consider a better candidate. Gavin Newsom, maybe? I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it doesn’t seem like this is all unfolding naturally. Perhaps it’s the fact that it was all being kept secret so this is a controlled leak of information, but I’m just not convinced.

Yup there is definitely a contest to see who can get the worst person into the highest office in the nation, and Democrats have taken the lead by a landslide.
That’s the White House’s legal defense? They were in a hurry to leave? Almost as good as Joe saying that the door to his Delaware garage was locked. Bad guys and crooks today can’t pick locks.
