Amazon Blocks Reviews Of “Rings Of Power” After Too Many Negative Reviews

Amazon Prime Video has released the first two episodes of their new “Lord Of The Rings” prequel series, “Rings Of Power.” And it’s great! Well, it’s great if you really love aggressive intersectional feminism dominating the main character personality profiles, and prefer a cast that was clearly chosen based on a checklist of diversity quota expectation that are completely inconsistent with the supposed historical setting or basic acting ability.

For those of us who DON’T happen to prefer our prequels pushing intersectional feminism and woke diversity agendas, we might be tempted to write a review expressing our criticisms so that Amazon can gauge the public response to their content and adjust as needed to please the viewers. But that’s not how it works anymore. You see, Amazon has blocked the public from leaving negative reviews, because they don’t actually care what you think.

It used to be that entertainment companies were beholden to their viewers. But now, viewers are beholden to the entertainment companies who have been captured by radical woke activism. It used to be that viewer criticisms and preferences dictated what kind of content these entertainment companies created. But now, entertainment companies create content based on a woke agenda which is forced upon the public with complete disregard for whether or not the public wants that kind of content. And the public is expected to subserviently accept and appreciate the content or be labeled racists, bigots, or various kinds of “phobes.”

“Rings Of Power” was the final straw for many viewers who are tired of the leftist entertainment machine cramming woke leftist agenda narratives down their throats. So, naturally, they took to Amazon to review the episodes and express their frustration and dislike. And how did Amazon respond? By blocking reviews. They announced they were blocking reviews for 72 hours so they could “weed out the trolls.”

Translation: They spent billions of dollars producing this woke disgrace, the audience has already given it a terrible 37% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and they can’t let people’s dislike of their new series damage the image of their new series or their agenda for future woke content. So they’re going to just label most of the bad reviews as “trolls” and then arbitrarily delete them so they don’t drag down their rating.

The public doesn’t matter anymore. The viewers and their opinions don’t mater any more. What matters is that the show is sufficiently intersectionally feminist and appropriately diverse, and the public WILL like it one way or another. And if the public really doesn’t like it, then the public will be made to THINK that the public likes it. And a great way to do that is to manipulate reviews.

If you just remove all the bad reviews by pretending you’re “weeding out trolls,” then it looks like you’re only getting good reviews because people like it. And if most people like it, then you should like it, too. And if most people like it, then there’s no reason to change anything for future series since people are clearly happy with this content. As Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre explained, extremism is “when you are not with what the majority of Americans are.“

Personally, my final straw with Amazon was their “Wheel Of Time” series. Obvious diversity casting quotas aside, they decided to completely diverge from the books and randomly make a major character overtly lesbian despite the fact that her character was clearly written as a heterosexual female. And the ONLY reason they did that was to check a woke quota box by making a main character LGBTQ. It didn’t improve the storyline in any way. In fact, it detracted from the story line because it was such a blatant and unnecessary divergence from the book series and the original character. I won’t be at all surprised when they inject the LGBTQ agenda into the “Rings Of Power” series. You know it’s coming. The woke agenda is the most important consideration for Big Entertainment, and they care so little for your interests that they won’t even let you leave a review.
