This is hilarious.
Guys, hold on. They said "semi." https://t.co/OnuFyDOWMi

Biden complained about “MAGA Republicans” THIRTEEN TIMES in his speech last night. Given that it was only a 24 minute speech, that’s actually kind of incredible. He referred to them as a threat to democracy, he said “MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic,” he said they “embrace anger and thrive on fear,” and that they “live in the shadow of lies.” And on and on.
In order to NOT be included in Joe Biden’s MAGA Republican category, you apparently have to be something he calls “mainstream Republican” which he has not defined, because if he WERE to, he’d likely simply point to Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney. No. He clearly means anyone who believes in Trump’s America First policies.
At a recent event, he said, “I respect conservative Republicans. I don’t respect these MAGA Republicans. There are not many real Republicans anymore.” Oh. Thanks for clarifying, you demented old lying fool.
When calling out who he considers “extreme” he said, “It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.” So yes, Don Lemon is right that he put the “semi” in there, but his GUEST is spot on when she suggests that what Republicans HEAR is what Biden MEANS. Because we know what he means.
“What do you mean by semi-fascism, sir?”

We know exactly what he means.

As usual, Lemon has no idea what he’s talking about and like most of the media, can’t even get a definition right. Fascists confiscate guns. Fascists control all print and broadcast media to get their unified message out. Fascists forbid opposition to their policies; censorship is not a suggestion, free speech is a jail-able offense. Fascists even dislike capitalism. Replace “fascist” with “Democrats” and the similarities are hard to ignore. Trump was a nationalist ego-maniac with bad messaging who tapped-in to an already-existing base of disgruntled conservatives. But if he was a fascist, he was incredibly bad at it.
