Nurse Posts TikTok After Her Patient Dies, And This Is Our Society Now…

Mock and I had a conversation this morning about how everyone is on TikTok, and they look like a bunch of mindless weirdos scrolling endlessly at dinner tables in restaurants, and how I want to grab their phones out of their hands and scream, “SNAP OUT OF IT!” every time I see these freaking idiots.

OK – I didn’t actually say that during out conversation, but I thought it. Apparently, it’s “addictive,” the whole TikTok thing. But so far I haven’t been sucked in. I’ve never had an addictive personality, though, and I guess I see crap like this that makes me want to punch TikTok squarely in the face:

Of course, there are nurses out there who are praising her for being all raw and honest and blah blah blah. But can you imagine what this chick had to do to film this– you know, at her place of work? She had to set her phone up somehow and position it in a way so it would get a decent angle of her being in anguish over her lost patient. Imagine how that went down. Did she put it on a chair? On a tripod that she happened to bring from her home-nurse-TikTok studio? Did she stick it on a gurney? Did another videography-nurse film her?

And then she was like, “What music am I going to set this to? Oh yeah – I’m Unstoppable. That’s it. Freaking PERFECT YAAAAASSSSSS GURL.” You know, while her patient JUST PASSED AWAY.

Let me remind you again that this person is a nurse. In a hospital. Chew on that for a second.

Apparently, she’s deleted her account, because of the backlash. And rightly so. But it speaks to a whole slew of these sorts of people out there, posting crap like this.

This is our society now. And we wonder why there’s culture rot.
