The reporter’s question was absolutely on point, and it stumped Kathy Hochul. She was caught out, utterly incapable of offering any cogent response to it, so she ended up simply demonstrating that she wants what she wants irrespective of the illogicality of it.
Hochul doesn’t want to admit that the SCOTUS ruling will have absolutely no bearing on crime rates in NY. Permit-seeking citizens are not the ones responsible for the out-of-control gun crime in NY. It’s – newsflash – CRIMINALS who are responsible.
Meanwhile, the crime will continue to skyrocket, Democrats will place blame on everything but the actual problem, and nothing will change.
Why anyone votes for these losers is completely beyond me.

Without data how will she know if said laws are safe let alone sensible?
Maybe Hochul should stop ruling by emotion and stop New York prosecutors from letting gun-toting criminals plea-bargain when they should be behind bars.
