Trump.
That’s what could change it.
Democrats – the ones who aren’t radical activists – the ones who are just silently freaking out about how badly everything is going under Biden’s leadership, do not feel particularly engaged about voting in their primaries right now. Perhaps they feel like it’s a lost cause. Maybe they just don’t feel like supporting ANYONE in their party, considering how much of a mess Democrats have made of things.
Check this out.
CNN’s Harry Enten: Republican primary turnout is up by 29% compared to 2018 — while Democrat turnout is down.

Something is definitely cooking, all right.
But you know what would drive Democrats to the polls like nothing else would? Their hatred for Trump. I know, I know – y’all get mad at me for saying so – but I’ve never been a person who doesn’t say things for fear it’s going to disappoint people on the internet. I say what I think.
That said, it’s entirely likely that the media will attempt to tear down and create false narratives about my pick for the GOP ticket in 2024 – Ron DeSantis. Democrats could certainly hate him enough to get to the polls too. The difference though, is that as I’ve said time and time and time again, DeSantis brings all the best things about Trump and his policies, WITHOUT the massive piles of baggage. And if you don’t believe me, take it from this hilarious person (I have no idea who he is) who clearly hates Trump AND DeSantis. He finds them terrifying. He’s reporting on a recent NH poll which shows that DeSantis has closed a 25 point gap and now even pulled slightly ahead of Trump. This fellow in the video does a nice job of explaining the poll, but then I legit busted out laughing when he got all Scaredy McTerrorpants about it.
Ron DeSantis has pulled ahead of Donald Trump in yet another poll, this time in the critical early primary state of New Hampshire. This is now becoming a trend for the Florida governor. pic.twitter.com/BKbQlypbzI

He lives in FL, you guys. So trust him, he knows how scaaaaaaaary it is to think about DeSantis being the GOP nominee. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! Meanwhile, businesses and individuals are moving to Florida in freaking DROVES, because of DeSantis’ pro-liberty, pro-business policies. But why let facts like that get in the way of fear, I guess. Also – sidenote. That dude’s ears get all pointy and they move up and down when he talks and it completely freaks me out.
Speaking of which, another billionaire – the richest in the state of IL as a matter of fact – is moving from Chicago to Miami. The explosion of crime in Chicago, along with the idiotic mayor not having any coherent strategy to deal with it, is just one reason for the move. Florida doesn’t have state tax, which is another. Illinois is gonna miss the money from that billionaire, considering he’s one of the top 50 richest people in the entire world.
Anyway, the point is, DeSantis knows how to lead, respects freedom and liberty, has no tolerance for woke bullsh*t, and is a fighter. And try as they might, the media has been patently unable to dig up any skeletons that could cause him problems in a national election. And YOU KNOW they’ve tried.
#desantis2024. I said what I said. 🙂

Newish resident of FL (Last August was the move), but my daughter has lived here for 8 years and currently resides in Orlando. My area (NE FL, Jax) is very conservative and heavily in favor of DeSantis. My daughter tells me it’s not quite that way in Orlando where there’s a big split of either haters or those that love what he is doing (she likes him a lot). As usual, D’s tend to dominate the cities. Maybe Miami could be changing with the shifting party loyalties of the Hispanic population ??? The governor election this fall could be telling with respect to what happens 2024
lol, this is great.
I hope this guy is wearing his two-tone pants – yellow in the front, brown in the back.
I’m not entirely convinced that Trump is the best option, but he’s significantly better than PotatoJoe.
I like DeSantis so far for the reasons Captain Fraidycat noted.
