Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you’ve probably heard about Gen. Michael Flynn’s resignation. I’m convinced it’s for the best. However, the administration still isn’t in the clear. We still have questions. If– as reported– the DOJ warned the White House about Flynn mischaracterizing his conversation with the Russian ambassador last month, why didn’t they act on it?
Cue Charles Krauthammer. He almost always has a sound, common sense take. He described this entire controversy as a “cover-up without a crime.”

I agree. It doesn’t seem unreasonable for an incoming national security adviser to speak to the Russian ambassador. However, if he deliberately misled Vice President Mike Pence, THAT is a problem.
Krauthammer has a point, though. Either way, this looks bad on Trump, even if– in the grand scheme of things– it’s a giant nothingburger.
